The machine
The first all-in-one home computer: monitor, keyboard, and datassette all in a single metal case. The early 'chiclet' keyboard was famously awful and was replaced in later revisions.
Why it matters
Part of the 1977 'Trinity' (Apple II, PET, TRS-80) that took personal computing to the mass market. Hugely popular in education.
